Hola/ Hi!
My name is Airam Aguasvivas De Los Santos. I am majoring in Psychology with minor in Italian and a member of the International Honor Society of Psychology, Psi Chi. I am happy to know you have visited my blog and read my writings!
I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic from where I immigrated to the United States in the summer of 2018 to finish high school and to make my dream of graduating from college a reality. I am an Honors student and a student assistant at my college for which I have collaborated to organize, program and participate in special events.

I consider myself a proud student and I do my best to be involved with school activities and groups such as the Writers group, and I am also a published author for my school's magazine. I have also been part of the Women Leadership Network as a mentee during the Spring 2022.

Additionally, I have co-hosted an info-session event on Taxes for CSTEP students. I had previous internship experiences such as crowdfunding campaign and social media manager for Sanichek, a Tax-prep and Spanish-English translator for the Mosholu Montefiore Community Center (MMCC), and a Policy Research and social media intern for HRA OCHIA. During the summer of 2023, I travelled to Segovia to study abroad and after that I was a student intern at NYU Langone for the HCOP program, in the Social Work Department at Rusk's Rehabilitation.

My dream career path involves serving and interacting with people, translation and interpretation and supporting the immigrant community, particularly the Latinx people. I hope to attend graduate school for a master's in psychology or social work.
