The Aqueduct of Segovia

La primera visita que hicimos nosotros (el grupo de estudiantes del programa de verano) fue al Acueducto de Segovia. Esta estructura es emblemática de la ciudad por su historia e influencia para atraer la atención de los turistas quienes viajan de diversos paises. La arquitectura de esta estructura está influenciada por los romanos, lo cual se puede ver en las curvas del Acueducto. Estas son de forma medio punto (medio círculo). Sin embargo, hay algunos que fueron reconstruidos y en el centro son punteagudas. Las vistas y la presencia de esta estructura son magníficas y hacen que todos se pregunten cómo se construyó en tiempos sin la tecnología actual.

In English:

The first visit we (the group of students for the summer program) made was to the Aqueduct. This structure is emblematic of the city for its history and Roman influence to attract tourists' attention. The architecture of this structure is influenced by the Roman architecture, which can be seen on the curves of the Aqueduct. These are medio punto (half circle) form. However, there are ones that were reconstructed and have a point at the center.

The views and the presence of this structure are magnificent and make everyone wonder how this was built in times with no technology of today.
